The Comanchero Canyons Museum has now added a new eye-catching piece to its many displays. CCM board members, Ronnie and Jana Carpenter have been a great asset to the museum and have now included the windmill to the outside display with an old blacksmith's shop and the type of cart that would have been used in the 19th century.
Kerry Jack Fleming and Ronnie Ruff of Fleming Well Service in Silverton donated their time and services to overhaul the windmill motor and install it and the blades and gears on top of the windmill tower. Terri Gibson and Charlie Johnson of Quitaque also donated their time to help set up the new windmill.
